Transitional Housing

Support and Guidance

Victory House in the Bronx provides a home, services, and support for young women, including those who are pregnant or parenting, who are runaway or homeless. Girls can stay up to 18 months.

Young women receive life-skills training; health education and care; HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and counseling; substance abuse counseling and treatment; and educational, psychological, and vocational counseling. With counselors, youth work on short-term and long-term planning to help them advance their educations in meaningful ways. The youth are provided with employment readiness, conflict resolution, and social skills workshops. Participating youth receive transportation for employment, education, and medical and counseling appointments.
