William D. Hirshorn
Bill Hirshorn is a Senior Advisor and Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Global Operations Department. Bill joined Morgan Stanley in 1986 as an IT trainee in New York. During his career he has transitioned to leadership roles in Technology, Internal Consulting, Global Custody Risk Management and Product Development, Enterprise Projects, Global Commodities Operations, Global Institutional Clearing Operations, Global Operations Change, Americas Regional Operations, Global Treasury Services Operations, Americas Branch Operations, and Global Shared Services and Banking Operations.
Bill graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor of Arts and received an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
Bill serves on the Board of Directors for The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). He holds a Trustee position at The Children’s Village and is also on the Executive Committee of The Transplant Forum at Columbia University Medical Center.
Bill and his wife Hope live in West Harrison, New York and have 6 children.
