Residential Programs

While we believe that children and teens belong with family, sometimes that is not possible. We provide a variety of short-term residential programs for youth in foster care or the juvenile justice system, undocumented children, and homeless teens. We also operate affordable housing for teens ready to move out on their own and for adults who are priced out of the housing market.

Foster Care

Our Dobbs Ferry campus provides structure and safety for boys with behavioral problems. Community homes help teen moms prepare for independence.

Juvenile Justice

We provide a therapeutic alternative to detention that helps young men and women who have made a mistake get back on track. We have campuses in Dobbs Ferry and Staten Island.

Runaway/Homeless

Our shelters in Westchester County and the Bronx provide a temporary safe place to stay for homeless and runaway teens.

Undocumented Children

Funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, our short-term shelters provide care for children who have come to the U.S. without a guardian.

Affordable Housing

Our apartment building in Harlem provides affordable apartments for adults and young people who are homeless or aging out of foster care.
