The Children’s Village was founded in 1851, and today, our mission remains very much the same: We work in partnership with families to help society’s most vulnerable children so that they become educationally proficient, economically productive, and socially responsible members of their communities.

Foster care can be a time for families to heal and grow. Our job is to keep children safe and well cared for, and return them to family as soon as possible.

CONNECTIONS is a special mentoring program within our Volunteer Department that matches committed adults with teens who will be leaving residential care. Mentors focus on helping teens prepare for successful careers.

The Children’s Village is more than a place to work. It is a place to grow, to contribute, and to find satisfaction through your efforts. No matter where you work at The Children’s Village, you will influence children, youth, and families not only for today but also well into their futures.
