Paws for a Purpose: Grand Opening of Our Grooming Clinic
We’re thrilled to announce the opening of ‘Paws for a Purpose’, our Grooming Clinic, an extension of our Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation program at The Children’s Village Dobbs Ferry Campus. Our clinic, staffed by our certified young people and dedicated volunteers, offers free grooming services to the local community.
Our Canine Rescue & Rehabilitation program empowers teens by providing them with the opportunity to train rescue dogs. This hands-on program not only equips them with paid work experience but also allows the dogs to learn basic skills, increasing their chances of finding loving homes. With the introduction of our new grooming program, our trained youth will now have the opportunity to build a grooming portfolio, for future employment.
