Paula Golding

Paula Golding is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for Proximo Spirits, Inc. Proximo is a leading Importer of Super Premium and Luxury Distilled Spirits Brands with sales exceeding $1.6 billion dollars. In this role, Paula is responsible for overseeing the organization, HR strategy & enablement. She is a member of the Executive Leadership team. Headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, Proximo’s brands include, The Jose Cuervo line of Tequilas, 1800 Tequila, Kraken Rum, TinCup and Stranahan’s American Whiskey’s as well as Bushmills Irish Whiskey. Paula began her career in 1993 at L’Oreal USA and held numerous positions in Human Resources including HR Director for the Luxury Division. She joined Proximo in 2008 as HR Director, one year after the company was formed. She has been overseeing the HR strategy for the US and Canada, she has also played an integral leadership role in the company’s growth and transformation, which has established Proximo as the category leader in the spirits industry. Prior to 1993, Paula worked in the HR field as a coop student at IBM and an HR assistant at Kidder Peabody & Company. Paula is a results-oriented and collaborative Human Resource professional with over 25 years’ experience setting People Strategies which align to Business Strategies; designing, developing and implementing processes, policies and programs to promote leadership and talent development, change management and employee growth opportunities. Trusted executive advisor with a successful track record for driving people strategies developed to increase employee engagement, enable business strategies and build high performing teams. Experience in leading HR initiatives and teams across various industries, challenges, and HR competence areas. She is a past board member of the Pelham Children’s center where she led the HR committee.
