Gabrielle Lesser

Gabrielle Lesser is an experienced community leader and former strategic planner/consultant with a strong background in education and non-profit management and operations.

Gabrielle served as a member of the Hastings-on-Hudson School Board from 2005-2017, including serving as President and chair of the Finance/Audit and Operations committees, where she worked on broadening community understanding of the school district’s budget
and union contracts and strengthening the district’s financial structure. She is a Board Member and Treasurer at Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings and is currently on the Board of the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Prior to her non-profit work, Gabrielle started her career in International Banking Automation at the Bank of New York and then worked for MTV Networks and Viacom Interactive as Vice President of Interactive Media Research and Planning. She has also consulted to retail clients on brand positioning and market segmentation studies. Gabrielle holds a BA in American History from Harvard-Radcliffe College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
