The Children’s Village Raises Essential Funds to Support our Community
The Children’s Village had a busy and successful fall event schedule. We celebrated our annual Golf and Tennis Classic, had our first annual Pickleball Tournament, and we held our annual Masquerade Gala.
Golf and Tennis Classic
We had a hugely successful 2024 Golf and Tennis Classic event with 21 golf foursomes and 13 tennis players. Our event was truly a celebration of community spirit. Some of the youth from our Campus joined and had a fantastic time participating in a golf clinic and enjoying a reception and dinner with our guests. It was a beautiful day, and we are genuinely thankful to everyone who took part and helped make this a wonderful occasion to raise essential dollars to support the children and families we serve.
Pickleball Tournament.
A busy morning was had by all at our first annual Pickleball Tournament, with more than 16 doubles competing in a fun competitive game at the Mohawk Day Camp in White Plains. No matter if you were a dinker or a banger, it was a great day.
Masquerade Gala
CV hosted its annual Masquerade Gala raising critical funds for The Sanctuary – the only runaway and homeless shelter specifically for teens in Westchester County. The evening was filled with amazing food provided by Silvio’s Italian Restaurant, dancing, a costume contest, colorful balloons that guests popped with the opportunity to win numerous prizes, and lots of fun. In addition to Silvio’s Italian Restaurant, we want to thank our other sponsors Mt. Carmel Pharmacy, Timko & Moses, Roger Paganelli, Music Alert and Sonic Grove.
