Why did you join The Leadership Council?
I have always had a passion for helping others. The Children’s Village Leadership Council gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life. Not only do I get to spend time with the kids of the Dobbs Ferry campus, but I also help come up with new ways in which we can raise critical funds for the organization.
Where do you think the LC is headed?
The LC is gaining a lot of momentum! We have a lot of new members, which I think will help us get more creative with our field trips and with our fundraising events.
What is your favorite LC Event?
I really enjoy the holiday party we have every year with the cottages on campus. We give out presents and eat pizza together. It’s always a great event that helps us foster and strengthen relationships with the kids.
