William Hirshorn was elected to the Board of Directors in 2002. He graduated from Oberlin College (B.A.) and NYU’s Stern School of Business (M.B.A. in finance). Mr. Hirshorn is currently a Managing Director for Morgan Stanley with responsibility for Global Clearing Operations and Regional Operations for the Americas. He started his career at Morgan Stanley in 1986 as an IT trainee in New York. Over the years, he worked on teams in Technology, Internal Consulting, Global Custody Risk Management and Product Development, and Enterprise Projects. He assumed responsibility for Global Commodities Operations in 2004, Global Listed Derivatives Operations in 2009, Americas Operations in 2010,and Global Institutional Securities Clearing Operations in 2011. He is also actively involved with a number of other organizations including Oberlin College and Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
