Why did you join The Leadership Council?
I joined the Leadership Council because I was looking for a good way to give back. I found the Children’s Village mission to be very inspiring, and I thought that the Leadership Council would be the best way for me to contribute to it.
Where do you think the LC is headed?
The Leadership Council appears to be growing rapidly. I think that’s really good as each new member further spreads the network and can increase our reach. I want to recruit more of my friends to be involved in Leadership Council events and to potentially joining.
What is your favorite LC Event?
My favorite event is the BBQ/softball game on campus. This was the first Leadership Council event I went to so it has a special place in my heart. I also love how this event brings in so many of the boys. A large part of what we do is focused on fund raising, but it’s important to see the kids that we are trying help.
