Some things never change. In 1848, when CV’s founders recognized the need to care for the hundreds of immigrant children roaming the streets of New York City, community members who shared their vision donated more than $150,000 to help create The Children’s Village. Because of their extraordinary generosity, CV exists today and over the years more than 200,000 children have changed their lives because of its programs and services.
The Children’s Village is grateful to the generous donors and volunteers whose support is critical to the fulfillment of our mission. To find out how you can make a donation of cash or in-kind goods, include CV in your will, or be part of the children’s lives through volunteering or becoming a foster parent, click on one of the links.
